Mentalist

A Mentalist is an artist or magician who specializes in Mentalism.

A Mentalist performs magic effects that include: Mind Reading, telepathy or long-distance communication, prediction of future events, and influencing or controlling a spectator’s choices or behavior.

In reality, all of these rely on psychological techniques, observation of body language, memory, attention management, and misdirection. The Mentalist’s goal is to create the impression that they possess supernatural or mental powers.
