Levitation

Levitation is a type of magic in which the magician makes an object or a person float or hover in the air, creating the illusion of defying gravity. It is one of the most impressive and spectacular magic effects, combining illusion techniques, mechanisms, and theatrical showmanship.

Famous examples of Levitation include David Copperfield’s legendary “Flying”, where he floated across the stage in front of a live audience, as well as the classic Floating Playing Card effect, performed by many magicians in Close-Up shows.
